NOTICE TO BIDDERS-Revised 

Formal Sealed bids addressed to Mr. Juan G. Guerra, CPA, MBA, City Manager, City of Pharr, will be received on February  1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., at the Purchasing Department (2nd floor) of Pharr City Hall, at which time they will be taken to the City Commission Room and publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be in the City of Pharr’s possession on or before the aforementioned date and time (No late bids will be accepted. Typed Bid Tabulation shall be posted on our website depicting all bids received.)

 PURCHASE OF THIRTY- ONE (31) 2018 VEHICLES

Bidders are specifically advised that it shall be mandatory that a bid bond from a reliable surety company licensed to operate in the State of Texas, Letter of Credit, or Certified Cashier’s Check totaling five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must be provided to the City of Pharr within ten (10) working days after notification of award of purchase contract, as a guarantee that the bidder shall meet all specification requirements and delivery dates.

Bidders receiving a “NOTICE TO BIDDERS” and/or “REQUEST FOR BIDS” notice via e-mail, fax, or reading same in the newspaper are advised that they shall be required to go online to our website http://pharr-tx.gov/bids to obtain solicitation documents. Bids are to be submitted in paper copy form. If this is your first time on our website “Welcome.” You may proceed in downloading the solicitation packet. Be advised that if your company is contemplating on responding to this project, you must register with our Purchasing Department by emailing your company information to [email protected].   (Please include Legal Company Name, Company Representative, full address, e-mail address and contact numbers). Any and all related Addendums issued shall be posted on our website.

Potential Bidders are asked to email their questions to Sandra Zamora, CPM, Purchasing Director, by emailing [email protected].  Include the relative project number and project title.

The City of Pharr reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids, to waive any or all formalities, or technicalities, and to accept the bid to be the best and most advantageous to the City, and hold the bids for a period of ninety (90) days without taking action.
