Meet the dedicated team at the ready to help, teach, & guide Pharr residents to a more connected future
What is a Digital Navigator?
A Digital Navigator is a trusted guide who works one-on-one with community members to help them gain confidence and skills with technology. Based on the National Digital Inclusion Alliance framework, Digital Navigators provide personalized support to help residents access affordable internet, devices, and digital skills training—the essential tools that unlock opportunities in education, healthcare, employment, and daily life.
How Digital Navigators Help Pharr Residents
In Pharr, your Digital Navigator is part of the City’s commitment to making sure every resident can thrive in the digital age. Whether you’re learning to use a computer for the first time, connecting with telehealth services, applying for jobs online, or exploring what the library and city resources have to offer, Digital Navigators provide patient, individualized support in both English and Spanish.
As one Pharr Digital Navigator shared: “I hope this program gives the residents of our city confidence with technology, and also confidence that we at the City of Pharr have their best interests in mind and are continuously working to make their lives better.”
