Pharr to Host 2019 International Trucking Expo TOMORROW, Saturday, Sep. 21 @ 10 am
Free Basic Weight Enforcement Workshop begins at 8 am
Pharr, Texas – The City of Pharr is excited to announce that the 2019 Pharr International Trucking Expo will take place from 10 am to 5 pm TOMORROW, Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Pharr Events Center (3000 N. Cage Blvd) in Pharr. Admission is FREE.
“Trucking is a vital industry to our economy, international trade, and the transportation of products to the rest of the nation, including to our neighbors in Mexico and Canada,” said Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez, M.D. “We are proud to recognize all our trucking industry partners and are thrilled to once again welcome industry leaders to Pharr as they convene to network, learn about new trucking products, services, and transportation solutions, among many other exciting opportunities,” he continued.
Companies from both Mexico and the United States will be offering their services, products, and jobs, as well as financing for the purchase of trucks, parts, and equipment. The event is FREE and open to the public and will feature a live DJ, truck contest, prize giveaways, employment opportunities, FREE health screenings, and much more!
Before the Pharr International Trucking Expo kicks off, there will be a FREE Basic Weight Enforcement Workshop, from 8 am – 10 am, featuring Guest Speaker Sergeant Orlando Barrera with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Highway Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
