City of Pharr and Pharr EDC to Host Grand Opening for IKEA Pharr TOMORROW, 10/1 @ 10 AM

Pharr, Texas – The City of Pharr, Pharr Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and the Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce are proud to invite the public, community leaders, and media to the official Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for IKEA Pharr, the first IKEA store in the Rio Grande Valley and the first of its kind small concept store.

The celebration will take place TOMORROW, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at IKEA Pharr (500 N. Jackson Rd., Pharr, TX 78577).

IKEA is a global leader in home furnishings, known for its stylish, functional, and affordable designs. The Pharr location introduces the first of its kind small model. A smaller, more accessible concept designed to make it easier for customers to shop, discover products, and experience the brand.

All media and the community are invited to join in the ribbon-cutting, explore the store’s innovative layout, and celebrate this exciting addition to Pharr’s growing commercial landscape.
