City of Pharr to Host Pharr Hub Phestival on Saturday, 9/18 in Downtown Pharr

The City of Pharr will host its biggest event of the year, the Pharr Hub Phestival themed “Country Boots, Tejano Roots” which pays homage to the city’s roots. Pharr Hub Phest will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in downtown Pharr (118 S. At the heart of the Hub Phestival will be live entertainment for all to enjoy, featuring musical performances by Bo Garza, Steve Valdez, and Bobby Pulido and country music stars The Band Perry featured as the headlining act. Mayor Hernandez and city officials are slated to give remarks at 9:30 pm on the main stage, and will present the newly-crowned Miss Pharr and Miss Teen Pharr to the community.

“We invite our entire Pharr and Rio Grande Valley community to join us as we celebrate our Pharr roots,” said Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez, M.D. “Families can expect a fun-filled event with great attractions, entertainment, and an exciting line-up of performers, including our headliner, country music stars The Band Perry,” he continued. “Everyone is invited to join us for the festivities, remember to bring your family, your friends, your lawn chairs, and join us on Saturday, September 18 for Pharr Hub Phest!”
