What exactly is TeamPharr.Net?

TeamPharr.Net is a fiber optic internet service provided by the City of Pharr. Every user can get up to 1GB upload and download speeds that can handle all of your internet needs whether it be for work, school, streaming, or gaming. TeamPharr.Net is sure to give you the best service at the best price compared to other local services.

What happens after I sign up?

After signing up and paying your initial service fee, you will receive a confirmation email welcoming you to TeamPharr.Net. Then, your exterior install will be scheduled; you do NOT have to be home for this. Please just make sure the installation technician can access the necessary areas. Finally, we will schedule your interior installation – you DO have to be present for this part – so you can get set up and have internet at the speed of life!

Do I get my own gig?

Every TeamPharr.Net residential customer will have 1 GB download speeds/ 1GB upload speeds to their home if they choose the Gold Plan for $50.00/month. If a customer has opted for Blue Plan $25.00/month, then they will have 500 Mbps download speed/ 500 Mbps upload speed to their home.

Can I buy my own equipment?

TeamPharr.Net includes a router/modem for internet service for all customers but if you’d like to use your own equipment then you definitely can (Some exclusions may apply). Does TeamPharr.Net have permission to be on my property?

Yes, Teampharr.net subcontractors have the legal right to access the designated utility easements typically located within the back alley, a strip of land running along the street, the sidewalk, the rear lot line, or between two lots. If the easement is within a fenced-in yard, crews will need your help accessing this area.

Will TeamPharr.Net make sure my property is left as it was before construction started?

Please call 956-402-2000 to report any damages to your property. TeamPharr.Net contractor crews will make every effort to minimize the impact on properties. They will also repair all damages using their specialized contractors at no cost to residents to include restoring lawns and repairing damaged water or sprinkler lines.
