PARADE CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER
City of Pharr Veterans Day Fireworks Display to be Held on Sunday, November 11
Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our citizens, families, parade participants and Veterans, and due to expected inclement weather conditions, the City of Pharr has canceled its Veterans Day festivities, including the parade and concert, scheduled for Saturday, November 10, 2018.
To honor the service and dedication of all veterans, the City will proudly launch the fireworks display at 6:30 pm from Liberty Middle School (1212 S. Fir) on Sunday, November 11, 2018. City officials encourage all Pharr families to direct their attention to the skies during that time as we celebrate the freedoms and liberties we enjoy in our country as a result of the selfless dedication and service that our veterans have sacrificed.
