Reference Services
at the Pharr Memorial Library
The Reference Department assists patrons with research, information requests, technology help, and access to library resources such as databases and special collections, as well as public computer access with extended sessions.
In addition, our department organizes a variety of teen and adult programs and events for the community and is responsible for managing the library’s local archives and gallery space.
Check out our free monthly programs below. We hope to see you soon!
For more information, please request to talk to a Reference Staff Member at (956) 402-4650.
Teen & Adult Programs & Events
Priority is given to target audience (Teens/Adults) for which the event/program is advertised. Reference staff reserves the right to allow or deny additional participants from other age groups given that the programs may not be suited for children. Teen/Adult participants must exercise caution when bringing accompanying children & must not leave them alone.
Programs will be offered while supplies last. Activity supplies will be provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. All programs are free.
