Items We Accept at the Pharr Recycling Center

The following are items that are accepted here at the City of Pharr Recycling Center.
Paper
We accept the following paper waste, newspaper, books, magazines, cardboard, etc.
Metal
We accept metal such as tin, aluminum cans, metal piping, broken metal car parts, etc.
Tires
We accept used tires from City of Pharr Residents only. Call (956) 402-4350 for more information.
Used Motor Oil
We accept used motor oil and used motor oil filters. Remember, if you dump it you drink it!
Plastic
We are currently accepting 2 kinds of plastics: plastic #1 and plastic #2
Hazardous Waste
We accept hazardous waste such as antifreeze, paint, and batteries. These items are only accepted once a year. Call us at (956) 402-4350 for more information.
