Notice of Availability of Finding of No Significant Impact – Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge Expansion Project

Purpose:

This notice advises the public that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), has issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge Expansion Project, and that the FONSI is available for public review.

Description:

The proposed project would add a second adjacent “twin” structure west of the existing Pharr International Bridge from the Pharr POE to the International Boundary with Mexico (Rio Grande) in Hidalgo County, Texas. The approved FONSI and Final EA are on file and available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the City of Pharr, 118 S. Cage Blvd., Pharr, Texas 78577. It is also available online at https://pharr-tx.gov (scroll down to PUBLIC NOTICE / AVISO PÚBLICO) and at www.txdot.gov keyword “Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge.”
