Our department is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community through fire suppression, rescue, risk reduction and public outreach. Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest level of emergency response and mitigation utilizing an all-hazards approach. We strive to deliver efficient, innovative, and accessible services that foster a thriving, safe, and sustainable community. Our department is committed to enhancing the lives of our citizens through public education, outreach, risk reduction and effective emergency response. 

Our Goals

• Training and Education – Provide certification courses for Emergency Medical Technician certified firefighters and certified front-line Officers to achieve higher levels of credentials to improve the delivery of services to our citizens. 

• Improve Response Times – Ensure that the Fire Department is responding to emergency calls as quickly as possible to provide lifesaving and property protection measures. 

• Public Outreach and Community Risk Reduction – Engage the public, especially population segments such as the elderly and children, to introduce programs and initiatives that will improve safety and reduce risk in the community.
