Water Treatment Plant

The City of Pharr’s Water Treatment Plant is a treatment facility with a capacity of 19.0 Million Gallons (MG) and a distribution system of four elevated storage tanks. The treatment process consists of disinfection, coagulation, sedimentation, and filtration.

 

For two decades, the City of Pharr Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has held the rating of “SUPERIOR WATER” from its state regulatory agency Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). It provides public health, fire protection, supports the economy and improves the quality of life for its residents.
