Our mission is to provide excellent global trade services. We strive to deliver efficient, innovative, and accessible services that foster a thriving, safe, and sustainable community. Our department is committed to streamlining commercial trade along the Southern United States and Northern Mexico border through new infrastructure project investments, such as the Bridge Expansion, state–of–the–art technology and robust process improvements to enhance the overall crossing experience for the diverse industries and customers we serve. Looking ahead, our vision is to be recognized as the state’s “best in class” global trade services provider.  

Our Goals

• Operational Excellence – Develop and implement a bridge infrastructure and equipment maintenance strategy and a continuous improvement culture and process. Ensure state of the art technology and innovation at the port of entry. 

• Business Development and Market Growth – Create customer acquisition initiatives to attract new business opportunities to increase market portfolio. Identify and develop incentive programs to increase customer retention and expansion. Increase service portfolio to offer a wider range of services and products to evolve into a “full-service” port of entry. 

• Employee Engagement and Leadership Development – Develop, update employee pay grade scale to compete regionally and offer equitable compensation according to industry standards. Create employee development path for growth and succession.
