Our department is dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community through our 24-7 water and wastewater treatment facilities, uninterrupted distribution of 415.3 miles of water lines and 301.67 miles of sanitary sewer lines. We’re here to serve you, ensure our city’s growth, and work together to make our community a better place.

Our mission is to deliver efficient, innovative, and accessible services that foster a thriving, safe, and sustainable community. Our department is committed to producing and delivering safe drinking water and to collect and treat waste without interruption for no-potable reuse and safe environmental discharge.    

Our Goals

• Diversity Water Supply Portfolio – Develop and integrate multiple water resources to ensure long-term water reliability and resilience against drought and climate challenges. 

• Promote Sustainable Water Conservation – Implement policies and incentives to encourage efficient water use and sustainable infrastructure in new residential and commercial developments.  

• Promote Community Engagement – Foster public awareness and participation through educational programs, workshops, and events to highlight water conservation.  

• Ensure Reliable Utility Services – Invest in infrastructure improvements and expand water and wastewater treatment facilities to meet current and future demands.
