Oil & Gas Well Drilling Permit

Application must be submitted as soon as possible. Application requests are placed on City Commission agenda for consideration and approval by our City Commission. Documentation required for processing of application per City of Pharr Ordinance No. O-2025-25:

– A drilling permit fee of $5,000 shall accompany this application.
– A copy of map or plot of exact location for proposed well.
– A copy of Texas Railroad Commission Permit.
– A copy of Insurance Certificate of public liability ($3,000,000 per occurrence) and property damage ($1,000,000,000).
– $100,000 Performance Bond
