We Take Care Of Your Parks
Our department is proud to showcase our most recent accomplishment, the completion to Phase One of Dr. William Long City/School Special Needs Park located at 1000 E. El Dora Road. Dr. William Long City/School Park is the only park on the north quadrant of the City, and the five (5) acres are formed by a concrete walking trail that measures approximately a third (1/3) a mile long. Park amenities include: special needs playground and play structure featuring poured-in-place rubber surfacing, a restroom facility, park benches, water fountains, covered picnic areas, open-space, and basketball courts. Future plans are to expand on existing five (5) acres and incorporate additional twenty-two (22) acres to the North of existing Dr. Long Park for recreational and athletic open-space.
