Swimming Lessons

Water-based fitness can help people to improve or maintain their health, but the ability to fully enjoy any of these water activities relies on knowing how to swim and how to be safe around the water. For more information, please call the Pharr Parks and Recreation department at (956) 402-4550.

Parent/ Child (6 Months – 3 Years)
Preschool Aquatics (4 years-5 years)
Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
Level 2: Fundamental Aquatics Skills
Level 3: Stroke Development

Depth: 4 feet – 13 feet

Days: Monday – Thursday (2 weeks)

Aqua Zumba

Aqua Zumba entails dancing to motivational music with unique dance moves, combinations, water resistance, creating a safe, low impact, and high energy aquatic exercise. For more information, please call the Pharr Parks and Recreation department at (956) 402-4550.

Fee: Adults $30 monthly

Swimmers must wear swimsuits Cut-off shorts, clothing with buttons, and colored shirts are not allowed Absolutely NO REFUNDS are provided. Swimmers must shower before entering the pool areas. Swimmers are not allowed to run on the premises. Diving and flipping from the edge of the pool is not allowed. Absolutely no horseplay is allowed at any time. Outside food and beverages are allowed inside ice chest with fee of $5 Alcohol and glass containers are prohibited on the premises. Abusive and profane language are not allowed. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Weapons or objects which may be perceived as weapons are not allowed. Should you exit the Aquatic Center, you must re-pay to enter. Smoking or vaping are not permitted on premises.	Los nadadores deben usar trajes de baño No se permiten pantalones cortos, ropa con botones y camisas de colores No se proporciona absolutamente NINGÚN REEMBOLSO.
