COVID-19 Update

In an effort to protect public health and the safety of citizens and staff as the state responds to the continued threat of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Pharr Parks and Recreation Department will resume all recreation/athletic and aquatic programs in June 2021.

Park visitors are asked to follow all CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommended physical distancing guidelines in any open space, trail, walking path or during any outdoor recreational activity.

Lap Swim

  • Monday – Friday:
    • 5:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.
    • 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
    • 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    • 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    • 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
    • 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    • 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Daily Fees:
    • $2/adult,
    • $1/children, seniors 55+, military
  • Monthly Membership
    • $20/adult
    • $10/children, seniors 55+, military
  • Indoor Pool
  • Depth: 4 feet – 13 feet

Swim Lessons

Water-based fitness can help people to improve or maintain their health, but the ability to fully enjoy any of these water activities relies on knowing how to swim and how to be safe around the water. For more information, please call the Pharr Parks and Recreation department at (956) 402-4550.

Aqua Zumba

Aqua Zumba entails dancing to motivational music with unique dance moves, combinations, water resistance, creating a safe, low impact, and high energy aquatic
exercise.

Days: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Fee: Adults $20 monthly

Are you someone with quick wit, clear-cut focus, and a love for the water? The Pharr Aquatic Center is looking for motivated workers to serve as preventative members of our workforce who ensure the well-being and safety of the patrons in our park.  Apply today!
